A group of our Key Stage 4 students got a fantastic sneak peek this week of a new hands-on learning adventure starting after the half-term break.

On Wednesday, students were visited by Enstruct for a taster session of an outdoors environmental programme, which will be offered to LPS students every Wednesday. The visit was a huge success, giving them a real feel for the exciting activities they can expect. To kick things off, students were given a brief presentation outlining the details of the programme, they then gathered around a warm campfire to toast marshmallows and enjoy delicious hot chocolates.

This new programme is designed to give students practical, real-world skills in an engaging, natural setting. Throughout the course, participants will dive into activities like advanced campfire cooking, essential woodland management, and many other hands-on environmental tasks.

It's a wonderful opportunity for students to build confidence, learn valuable skills outside the traditional classroom, and develop a deeper connection with the great outdoors. We are thrilled to be offering this programme and look forward to seeing our students thrive in this new environment.
